Pre-Production for Shazam continues as director David F. Sandberg teases fans on what might be going into the creation of the film and what fans might see. In the most recent case Sandberg is teasing that Superman.
Early on in development Sandberg and writer Henry Gayden shared a mock script page with Superman in it, simply meant to be funny. This of course, does not confirm he’s in the movie, but it certainly adds to the excitement of the development of it.
Shazam is so far the only DC Films movie to not get distributed by Warner Bros. and will get a New Line distribution, so if true we will see Henry Cavill’s Superman return and get a further idea on how Superman has inspired those around him through Billy Batson/Shazam.
My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
