We have been keeping tabs on The Flash and Supergirl crossover event from the time it was announced until as recent as Grant Gustin sharing a picture on his Instagram of him heading to the Supergirl set, to start filming the network crossover. Now we receive our first look at Grant Gustin as The Flash and Melissa Benoist as Supergirl, ready to start shooting.
Depending on the ratings for the episode we suspect, we may get a yearly event if the direction of the shows warrant it.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
