Tyler Hoechlin has been officially cast in the role of Clark Kent/Superman in season 2 of Supergirl. Hoechlin who’s best known for his role on MTV popular television series Teen Wolf and starring alongside Tom Hanks when he was a child, in the DC Comics comic book turned into live action film with the same title, Road to Perdition.
Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreisberg had a few things to say about the casting choice:
“Greg [Berlanti] and I have wanted to work with Tyler for ages, so this worked out perfectly because Tyler is Superman,”
“We are so thrilled and humbled to add another amazing actor to the legacy of this iconic character.”

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
