Tyler Hoechlin has recently landed the iconic role of Clark Kent/Superman, a part once held by Christopher Reeve, Dean Cain, George Reeves and currently by Henry Cavill in the DC Extended Universe. While the internet has been buzzing over the great news, Tyler Hoechlin has stayed a bit quiet, at least until now.
Hoechlin opened up on his twitter on how it feels to slip into this iconic role of Superman, Hoechlin who once audition for the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman in the DC Extended Universe, before it was given to Ben Affleck and played a role in the live action film Road to Perdition, seems apparent that he loves his DC Comics.
Could not be more honored & humbled to be given the opportunity to play this incredible & beloved character. Can't wait to get to work!
