With the theme of Arrow for season 5 revolving around new vigilante’s coming to Star City, it’s no surprise that another obscure DC vigilante will make their next appearance in live action, Christopher Chance aka Human Target. According to TV Line, Will Traval (Jessica Jones) is set to appear as Human Target.
Character description goes as follows:
A professional bodyguard and master of disguise who assumes the identities of those targeted by assassins, the character (aka Christopher Chance) will appear in Episode 5 when he takes on a new client: Mayor Oliver Queen.
Christopher Chance is the 2nd vigilante to take on the name of Human Target, while Fred Venable was the first to assume the identity, Christopher Chance has become the most well-known take on the character.
Human Target has had two live action series in the past, first in 1992 on ABC, starring Rick Springfield in the title role. The series lasted only 7 episodes and even had a tie-in comic. In 2010, FOX aired their own take on the character for two seasons, with Mark Valley in the title role.
