Zach Galifianakis to Voice The Joker in The LEGO Batman Movie

According to The Hollywood Reporter Zach Galifianakis is in final talks to voice the Clown Prince of Crime The Joker for The LEGO Movie spin-off film The LEGO Batman Movie.

Zach Galifianakis is best known for his role in The Hangover films, however this would be his first foray into the world of DC Heroes. Zach will be joined by Will Arnett, who is reprising his role as Batman from The LEGO Movie, along with Michael Cera who is set to voice Robin.

The film is set to be directed by Chris McKay, based on a screenplay by Seth Gramme-Smith.

While there has been some direct to video The LEGO Batman Movie films it is unclear if those films tie into these new films, although it would be interesting if they did.

The LEGO Batman Movie is scheduled to be released on February 10, 2017 in Theaters.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me
