It looks as though the rumor about the Snyder’s taking a back seat to the DC Films Universe is false, as it was confirmed they will continue to work on the DC Films. In an article by USA Today, Deborah Snyder mentioned her and Zack Snyder are working with Patty Jenkins for the Wonder Woman sequel.
Deborah Snyder also mentioned they were still busy with the other DC films and specifically Wonder Woman 2 when asked about Justice League sequel.
Deborah Snyder says Justice League 2 “would be amazing” but DC’s lineup is already plenty busy. The Snyders have been working with Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins on her sequel (slated for Nov. 1, 2019)
It’s not known to what capacity, but if they are working closely with her on it, than it would mean they are likely working with her on the story, along with Dave Callaham and Geoff Johns and will continue to serve as Producers on the film as they did with the first film.
