Recently a rumor had started spreading concerning the possibility that The Joker look of Jared Leto that was posted by Suicide Squad director David Ayer was only a publicity shot celebrating the 75th Anniversary of The Joker’s and that it was not the actual look for the character for Suicide Squad.
Several sites have run with the story but the source we feel is not strong enough as it’s just a random guy who’s said to be supposedly a industry insider.
However we reported on a couple of shots in which The Joker has no tattoos, of course they are far away shots that can easily be doctored, but Zack Snyder doesn’t help with the speculating with his tweet on the photo of Jared Leto.

As you see he puts #cryptic and #75th, which may suggest it could be the look or the possibility that it really is just a publicity look and will not be the actual look of The Joker in Suicide Squad.
Zack Snyder is an Executive Producer so he would have knowledge, but it’s curious to us why David Ayer and Jared Leto have not responded to the hate that has erupted since the picture was released.
We here at DCComicsMovie.com are mixed on the look but we are all in agreement that Leto will more than likely own the role.
