Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice made its HBO première last Saturday and the now the numbers have come in and shows that the second film in the DC Extended Universe, gave HBO huge numbers despite premiering on a Saturday night.

According to DC Comics News, 2.33 million viewers tuned in, with 0.99 being in the 18-49 demographic. This is quite impressive considering Saturday nights rarely ever show big numbers as many people are out enjoying their weekend, it’s made even more impressive because it’s the theatrical cut, which many felt was horribly edited, especially compared to Zack Snyder’s original cut dubbed “The Ultimate Edition. ”

It’s unknown if HBO will ever show the Ultimate Edition, but you can buy it on Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Packs, Amazon’s Limited Edition Box Set which includes Man of Steel and services such as Amazon Video and iTunes.
