A couple of days ago, the internet went nuts at the unconfirmed news that there was a private screening of Zack Snyder’s upcoming film Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and that the reception was so good it got a standing ovation.
Not only that but Warner Bros. was so impressed with Ben Affleck’s portrayal of Batman that now they are going to renegotiate Ben Affleck’s deal to extend to 3 solo Batman films instead of the just the 5 films he is already scheduled to appear in, making it 8 films.
Well according to John Campea of Collider Movie Talk, this may not have happened. John Campea pointed out that while it is still possible the screening did occur, his Warner Bros. contact had denied such a screening.
While it’s possible that there was no screening, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Ben Affleck deal is still true.
