Rumors were flying online that David Ayer was stepping down as Director for Gotham City Sirens, we didn’t share this rumor since there was no evidence to support it, as Ayer spoke as recently as San Diego Comic Con, on why he chose Gotham City Sirens over the Suicide Squad sequel. Clearly giving no hint that he was leaving the project.
Since the rumor caught on, Ayer went on to Twitter debunk the rumor by sharing a photo of a laughing Harley Quinn.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
