Jared Leto who played The Joker in Suicide Squad and will return for Gotham City Sirens, Suicide Squad 2 and a Joker-Harley Quinn film, spoke recently with the UK-based news site ODE about what are his opinion on a possible Joker film without him and the spin-offs that may be in development.
Though he does acknowledge that a few things are going on at Warner Bros involving the character, he does not confirm or deny a Joker film without him in it. He does state that he loves the character and a part of playing this type of role does mean he will eventually be giving the reigns to another actor.
My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
