The anticipation for Wonder Woman has been on the raise these last couple of weeks and with that director and producer of the DC Extended Universe Zack Snyder, who’s also credited as an Executive Producer on the film, as well as the creator of the story that Geoff Johns and Allan Heinberg based their script on, confirmed during the Shanghai red carpet premiere, that a Wonder Woman sequel is in development.
This news was confirmed by Twitter user Arthur Wong, who attended the Shanghai Red Carpet premiere for Wonder Woman where Snyder confirmed the sequel being in development.

This news comes as a surprise as director Patty Jenkins, recently spoke about wanting to do a sequel, as she already has ideas what she would like to do with it, but saying there’s no plans for one.
