Joel Kinnaman Confirms He’s in Suicide Squad

Joel Kinnaman, star of the Robocop remake, was previously reported to be in negotiations to appear in Suicide Squad as Rick Flag, replacing Tom Hardy, who had to leave the project due to scheduling reasons. Now in an interview with Allocine, for his new film “Run All Night” (co-starring Liam Neeson) he confirms he’ll be in the film, but he never confirms the role.

All I can say I’m going to be in the movie and it’s going to be amazing.

Obviously its assumed he’s going to be Rick Flag, but I’d careless if he didn’t mention it. It could also be possible it’s for another role, possible but unlikely. Still its great to hear confirmation.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me
